Come meet the Superintendent/Principal Candidates

The candidates will be in three different classrooms. Each group (staff, students/parent, community/nonparent) will meet with them at different times beginning at 6:00 PM. The candidates will rotate between classrooms.

Professional Experience
I hold a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership with 20 years of combined leadership experience in education and business with over 13 years of experience in education.
Currently, I serve as the Assistant Superintendent, Board Ledger, Director of Technology, ISEE Coordinator, Interim Principal, and Co-Curriculum Director for the Firth School District. The variety of positions that I serve provides me with a wealth of leadership experiences.

During my six years as principal of Lincoln Elementary School in the Hoquiam School District, I served as an instructional leader. Through a constant cycle of inquiry, I led staff through a study of Growth Mindset, Balanced-Literacy, Marzano’s High-Yield Strategies, and The Simple View of Reading. I evaluated nearly 20 teachers using the Danielson Framework and partnered with them to improve student learning.
I am confident that my diverse set of experiences, passion for student success and commitment to collaboration will support North River’s goals.
